Has anyone tried the Cold air intake from SLPonline? I was wondering if there really is any power gain. I was also wondering how much sound (or noise) from the supercharger was added.

I use a Thrasher. You get about 12 to 15 HP gain. Ans you can sure hear the supercharge.

I bought the SLP CAI. Did notice some performance gain (but mostly after the u-bend delete and 3.4 pulley). I've been satisfied with it but have heard some complaints on workmanship. Has worked fine for me (plus it cost a lot less than some of the others). You'll definitely notice the sound of the increased airflow (especially when engine is cold).

Sweet. I was thinking of the SLP ram-air box to go with a ram air hood. Better, or just the same?

OK, this always starts a fight. But,
Ram-air is nothing but air being forced into any supercharger or carb. The old ones were nothing but flex tube under bumper or in grills, fastened to air cleaners. Olds came out with it back in the 60's. The hood was a nice selling point. The cold air box does the samething, with a little less volume. And unless you have a motor set to run a ton of air and gas, I haven't found any differnce.
NOW that should start a lot of replies for you.

i would go with either the MSP or the wizaired CAI, more expensive, but thell give you much more impressive gains

I think SLP claims up to 10 whp gain. I think the wizaired and thrasher can push out 5-7 more with the increased air volume. As for the ramair hood--looks cool but isn't going to get you a significant gain over a CAI box.

Oh well, I'm in it mostly for the looks anyhow.
