So my passenger side window in my LS goes down about a quarter of the way before it slows to a stop soon after. When I push the window down with the switch it goes down, no prob, and on the way up the window goes up smooth. So I read some posts and decided to replace the window motor and regulator, DIYO job.

Everything went well, unbolted the regulator from the door frame and window, uplugged the wire and reverse processed the used regultor/motor I purchased back on. Now the same problem occurs.. What am I doing wrong, is the window off the guide track. is there something Im missing, I def. dont think its the new motor and regulator i installed becuase its exactly the same as before.. Help anyone!!!

sounds like its off the guide track, the guide tracks are messed up thus not allowing the glass to move all the way on the path, or the weather strip is messed up blocking the path. pull out the window and look. if the guide tracks look fine, then slide the window back in carefully and bolt it back up. if its the weather strip, then you will definately know. have you been messing around with the inner door panel lately? removed it and tried putting it back in correctly?

If its the guide tracks worn out or damaged, then =/
