Motor ?

Over the past month my Malibu has only been able to keep speed if the tach is at 2 grand even in cruise control. That is for any speed 20 or 50 mph. I am thinking a possible engine gasket leak... any ideas?

Intake manifold gasket problems are pretty common on malibus...

yea.....intake manifold problems BUST MY BALLS.......its the reason i found this site.....if i would of found this site sooner i wouldnt of bought a POS mailbu......When my intake manifold went i could still drive in the 5k.......going like 90 on the express way.....but the car overheated like 30 mins later....so idk
