04 Si check engine light

So, i was driving to work this morning and the check engine light came on. Car only has 5,000+ miles on it. Gas cap is on tight, and oil is fresh and full? It seems to run great, no nocks or pings or any of that kinda stuff. Any ideas? Will be visiting the dealer shortly, but i thought a little input before i walk in would be a good idea.

It could have something to do with the variable valve timing components. I have MB C230 Kompressor and it had the exact same problem at around 7,000 miles. It turned out to be a faulty Crank Position sensor that caused the VVT to lose its adjustment.
Both were repaired under warranty.
