What’s the scariest movie you’ve ever seen?? I would have to say it was “13 Ghosts” for me. It scared the hell out of me and I had nightmares for days!!!!! :uhoh: :(

When I was really young Jurassic Park scared the hell out of me, whenever I was in the dark I could just picture some dinosour lurking in the shadows waiting to bite me in half. But that was when I was little, I can't think of a really good horrer movie I've seen lately.

hehe I loved 13 ghosts, didn't really scare me, I was more excited.
Same with Event Horizon, that is a damn cool movie.
I movie where I remember being absolutely scared was Deep Star Six, I was 12 and it scared the sh*t out of me.
Other than that I don't really remember being scared during any movie.

Definitely the Exorcist. Most movies are just too gory and not enough fright.

I think the scariest movie was this movie called "Bear" or something. I was little and I REALLY wanted to see "Uncle Buck" but we saw that bear movie instead. It wasn't even really scary except for the scene where the bear starts hallucinating and seeing all these evil frogs in the rain...that was nutz.

When I was 5, the scariest movie I saw were the Child's PLay movies. I couldn't stand that little doll. It was pure evil. :evillaugh
That really was the only scary movie I remember. Nothing actually scary comes out. Like jinushaun said, scary movies are now just blood and guts.
There are good suspense/jumpy movies though, like..... What lies beneath, The Sixth Sense, and The Others.
I still haven't seen the Exorcist.

I have never been scared by a movie before. But I have been scared by what was a home movie. Anyone remember that home video film of that family that got obducted (spelling?) by aliens? It was on T.V. like 4-5 years ago. They had showed it twice on UPN (I think). It didn't help that the film was made just 20 minutes away from my house. After watching that I couldn't sleep for a week and was scared of the windows in my house for a few months and had nightmares for about 2 months. Then they showed it again. Then it all started over again. I'm fine now.
