Paintjob Advice

Hi all. I'm getting my car completely repainted. Just wondering if anyone has any pointers on maintaining a brand new paint job. I want to keep it clean and nice and make it last the summer. Winter is here so ugh i'll most likely get a whole lotta snow here .... should i stay away from the snow/salt? My dad uses the garage for storage, so i can't really keep my car garaged. Are car covers good? k thx !

i used to live in snow but im only 15 but i was into cars i strongly recomend staying away from salt sand, but i shdl kno that you cant really stay away form it its everywhere but i can say taht u shld wash your car more then ragualrly to keep the paint prestine, Buy a quality cover and keep it out of the sun. Or if u cant make it to the wash wipe it down as much as you can w/o wiping salt sand around the body-

k thx! Yea it's gonna be pretty hard to keep my car out of the salt, but it can be accomplished! It doesn't snow here every day of the week, but when it does, i can take my dad's cavalier to avoid my car getting totally owned with Salt. I've been told to wait a while until i can put a car cover on my car, but i'll surely buy a good quality car cover. LoL i'm gonna be so paranoid now with the paint job. "Yo, WATCH THE DOOR MAN!" I can see it now .......
