hey, I have an 88 accord lxi sedan. Im just inheriting this car and am wondering how to take off the emblem on it. I looked today and it seems that theres 2 screws going into the emblem and theyre way up there and hard to get to. So please tell me how to take this thing off without breaking it in half:bloated: thanks alot

oh, and while im on, my car is pretty much stock right now. I wanna step up the engine, but dont have the cash right now. I was wondering how i could make the car faster without inversing in a whole new engine. Also, how much of a difference would an air intake make?:bloated:

iend of min has a 87 LX-I and his doesn have any screws just adhesive and if so just some fishing wire and gloves is all you need Or are you talking about something other than the "H" emblems??

if the emblems are on the paint, then fishing wire should work, WEAR LEATHERGLOVES!!! if it's on the bumper, then it might have screws - Good Luck.

buy a cheap intake pipe from anybody & then go buy a real K&N cone filter for it, & toss the cheap shit away. the intake will give ya 3-4 hp at the wheels, hopefully. otherwise, buy a NOS 50-shot kit or custom - not much aftermarket for the 80s Honda - except the '88-91 CRX.

In the 88 accord, the emblem is held by 2 rubber boot that stick into your hood...just "prye" it off or just bend one of the corners on the emblem enough so you can get your fingers under it and pull it off...your going to have to putty the 2 holes though...:D

umm yeah, this post is like 9 months old now, just to you know. But probably the best thing to do is first try to figure out what they used to put the fish on. Either look at it yourself or ask the former owner. If it was just that two sided tape stuff, then you can probably just prye it of and then work on getting the ramining sticker. If they put it on with glue then you're on your own.:)
