I am definitely liking the Corvette, and honestly even though the engine is just for mockup purposes, I think it'd be cooler to stick with that EFI roots blower than to do a twin turbo setup.

Very cool projects! I also like the Vette but would personally go with good old blower setup with some cool scoop, perhaps a shotgun type or something...
But anyway I´m going to keep my eye on these rides:D

i like all three! can't wait to see the truck done. back in high school my buddy had a truck similar to that one (65 chevy). that thing was a monster! actually, still is. still drags it at the racelegal.com events.

I have to agree with 351cougar on this one. I think stacking a big blower on top of that motor will really take away from the car's lines, which it looks like he is preserving. I really like the slick look with the fatties under the rear fenders. Hot.

Except that as you look at the engine in the bay right now you see it has a Roots blower on it with an EFI setup and it's a setup that does fit under the hood.
Wasn't suggesting the typical Weiand 6-71.

Nice build-up of all three kits I would like to see more pics of the truck. BTW what do you mean by Z'd frame. I helped my brother do a "C" notch on his late model chevy to air bag it, is it any where close to the same procedure??

Z'ing a frame involves moving the front and rear section of the frame up to lower the car/truck. I'm sure there's a more specific explanation some can give but thats basically it. They did it a lot on old hot rods, It kind of faded because of the work level involved and that now you can lower cars/trucks with kits. Back then you worked with what you had.

I think that you should make those turbos. Altough, lots of fitting. Like in my project.
