A Few CARtoons

Here are a few CARtoons I sketched yesterday and today. The first two were done by request from an AF member, the third one is a toon of my daily driver. These are done on regular 8.5 x 11 copy paper using Sharpies and black pens. The first two were quickly scribbled with pencil then outlined. The last one was done with a Sharpie from start to finish, no pencil. I took a picture of the first one since I couldn't get to a scanner. The second one was butchered by the scanner (damn HP).

Hope you like them. It's not really my preferred style of drawing cars but it looks cool in the end and it's fun to do when bored.

I would love to see some of your work in color eventhough the lines are very clean on black and white, color always add depth.

i like the accidental gradient on the very first cavy. it gives it a clean touch. nice work man.

Thanks for all the comments. To answer the question of inking, I freehand everything. I learned without tools and it's always stuck. As already mentioned, the third drawing is a wagon, it's my 93 Legacy turbo.

I'm working on some others, but I really need to buy a scanner so I can post them more frequently. Maybe Santa will be nice to me this year. :wink:

Yep, I went back and forth by e-mail last week. I think she may have already bought from someone else. I WAS a little late to offer my services so it's cool.
