we all have horror stories about service in shops...anybody got good stories?
mine-
Big ups to W.R.Phillips V.W. in New Plymouth...Was in there looking around and saw some neat little 'beetle' key rings,only $6 each,beautifully detailed....every colour except yellow.
Anyway,as I am standing there looking,the parts man wanders up,"can I help you?"Odd for parts man,but anyway...I said no thanks,I fancied one of those key-rings in yellow,my wife wants a yellow beetle for her birthday.
He smiled and asked me to wait...Ithought he must have more stock in the back..
He came back 5 minutes later....I'm in luck...the branch manager is at a franchise managers meeting in Wellington today,the parts man has rung another dealer in Wellington and arranged for the yellow key ring to be passed on to him when the conference arrives there later.
All that effort for a $6 key ring.....bloody amazing! thanks guys!

Nope, no good stories I'm afraid. I think women get shafted wherever they go when it comes to cars. Mitsi Newmarket always have special prices just for me! :mad: :(

Went to Tonys Tyres on Wednesday to get a tyre fixed. Brillant service.
Got the car cleaned, cup of coffee, newpaper :) ....they really go outn of there way to make you feel welcome

Bridgestone at Hillside Road (glenfield) Went in looking for some second hand tyres. They had some and I got them fitted, balanced and on the car (cleaned) all for $100.
When I need more tyres I will definately go back there.
