I dont own a 3000, i own a stealth and my car is at 170,867. (For some reason i checked it today) I've had to replace a few things so far..
New Clutch ($1,500)
New Starter ($350)
Two Front Axels ($700)
New Flywheel ($200)
New Brakes ($600)
That's what i replaced since I had owned the car.. not even a year ago. Kinda taking me through a lot of money.. but my baby is worth it. Expence is nothing if you have the dedication that most of us have. A few other problems not to big is where I had a wiring problem.. with my right headlight. Other then that.. the previous owner kept all of her reciepts for her, and the only thing that she did other than the basic oil changes and tunups was that she replaced all of the sparks plugs and all the connectors n shit in her. So i guess when I got her i got all of the main problems. Oh well though, because now she is running perfect.. (knock on wood)

I know.. now that i think about it i had a tunup, oil change, and a tire roation done.. and i think the flywheel was included in with that.. so.. it wasnt exactly that much.

152k on mine, I have lifter tick, and the 2nd synchro gone with a new freaking transmission. Other than that, cruise stopped working, Active Aero cut out, things like that. Great car, but the headaches. :disappoin

The 6g72 engine is a very strong block aluminum heads and such, it is kinda like the supra it can handle up to 5-600 hp before any major internals need to be changed.

My 93 SL has 172,000 miles on it. I bought it 6k miles ago. As soon as I bought it I had to replace my rotors, brakes, radiator, 60k mile service w/ water pump, clutch, spark plugs, wires, and flywheel. It's been running strong ever since and is very reliable. It has no lifter tick at all and pulls reallly strong and shifts great. This is what I used to fix my lifter tick and make the tranny shift better:

ya, gotta be careful with those pre-93.5 3/S as they only had a 2-bolt main bearing cap girdle. from 93.5 on Mitsu upgraded to the 4-bolt main. much more reliable, if ya ask me. but i guess it all depends on how you take care of your car.
oh, and my 93 base 3000 only has 69k :iceslolan
