Ok i know everyone has heard these tyes of thread before but i got a 93 teg and wanted to know if i was better off doing a ls/vtec or get a gs-r swap, I've heard ls/vtec gives a lil more power then a gs-r but isn't reliable if it isn't done properly. Also money is an issue and the cheaper the better for me.

lsvtec will be cheaper then a gsr. main things i would replace would be the oil pump and rod bolts. also get it tuned because no stock ecu is made to handle the extra displacement of the ls bottom end. but if you cant afford that, the gsr ecu would be the closest.

civic turbo, take head off gsr put on ls, be happy, medabots, use type r head if u can find it,.....if u cant afford it, do gsr head....ls vtec is ohk, but gsr or type r motor is better in the long run
