I have to start this off by saying I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm a band teacher and I'm starting a hobby by messing with my Shadow. I'd like to try modifying it, making some changes (like the ugly dash/gauges) and such. Is there a good place to start? A custom book or something? I guess I'm not sure where to start. Anything would be helpful. Thanks!

to start out i have a 92 shadow america which i bought from a friend for 150 dollars it has 230,000 + miles on it and it tiwsted out a main bearing so i bought a 2.5 liter turbo motor with 75,000 miles on it including the complete wireharness and computer along with the turbo transmission the conversion has been dificult but will be worth it when im done im in my 3rd week of work on it now but i would have been done long ago if i had wire diagrams all thats left is to finish up the electrical and vaccume lines install belts and fill the radiator. if you want performance mods this is the best way to get more power the stock "turbo2" or second generation dodge turbo has 165 hp and 200 ft lbs of torque thats more than the 3liter v6 best of all its lighter and gets better mileage thas all stock too i plain on making several modifications and should end up about 250 to 300 hp then its disk breaks off of a daytona with minivan calipers strut braces front and rear 1" sway bars front and rear coil over oil filled struts with viscosity adjustment there are a fiew body kits made for mitsubishi eclipse which with minor modification will fit a shadow and the interior i will be building a completely custom fiberglass dash and center console sparco seats roll/crash cage and auto fuel kill with fire extinguishers (required by my local track for on road racing)
there is really alot you can do to a shadow its just hard to find it a good place to come up with some ideas is cardomain.com ill be posting pics of my progress soon
