EACV gone bad?

I cleaned my EACV with a good bath of carb cleaner but after looking at my helms manual, the thing is only supposed to control air right? Well, the two lines that go into it, I recall unplugging one of them and a liquid came out of it, almost like anti-freeze cause of the smell. Is this normal or do i have things mixed around?

it does control air,
when you remove the eacv theres a screen on the bottom of it,
Ive started it while removed,air pulls heavy through that screen,
the lines going to the eacv do have antifreeze in them,
so thats not a problem,
you can test it with an ohm meter,
I think its supposed to read 8 to 15 ohms,

Alright, good to hear. I was getting a little freaked out when I saw it was just for air control but found antifreeze in the lines. But why the heck is it in there in the first place? I seriously thought that my electrical equipment was screwed up for sure.

Those coolant lines are there to keep the throttle body warm during cooler temps to prevent iceing.
