Well that would depend on how much money you are willing to spend...and if you want to improve acceleration, handling, etc...
If you are looking for simple boltons..get a header and high flow cat or something.
If you want to improve handling, get sway or tower strut bars.
If you want to improve all around...upgrade your rims/tires and get lowering springs.
If you have 2-3 grand...get a turbo.

HEADER-1
HEADERS-2 OR MORE
I also heard that the EX has a great HEADER already so changing it wouldn't make much of a difference. I would go with MSD and or AEM Cam Gear. Better throttle body.

MSD isn't needed yet, he hasn't upgraded any ignition parts, he isn't running boost...it would be pointless.
As far as the cam gears, they are something you need to dyno tune...not for the entry-level tuner.
So you have a hi-flow cat...well then, get a header, better motor mounts, aluminum flywheel, better clutch
After that you could get an Air/Fuel controller and lean the car out a bit.
