Hi all,
My latest project is the Heller 1/8th scale Citroen Traction Avant, which with over 1,000 pieces is the most challenging kit, that I've attempted to build.
My plan is to do a modern twist of the classic gangster theme, my car will hopefully contain the following modifications.
1) Proline Velocity 6 chrome wheels, wrapped in proline 40 series rubber.
2) Flip down tv's in the rear.
3) Understated stereo system.
4) Scratchbuilt centre console.
5) Purple faux ostrich hide
6) Machine turned aluminium dashoard and door cappings.
thanx

1/8 sounds gigantic. I dont think ive ever seen a kit this big before. If you could post some pictures would be very cool to see, and if you can take one with a 1/24 scale model next to it.

As a young boy this was one of thoose impossible dreams, there was this guy in the local LHS that found a wreck in the forrest of this car and made the model exactly the way he found it. Dents, rust, missing parts, ripped up upholstery....you name it. It had it all and was displayed with pictures of the real thing. This was about 30 years ago and what happend to the model I don't know :disappoin
Good luck on this mega build of yours!

Merged and moved.
Can't see the Fotoki pics (blocked from work computer) but I'm assuming this is now an in-progress/completed thread.
