Plugged Heater Core?

I have read the threads and I was wondering if this is also a plugged heater core: Temp level good, coolant level normal, new t-stat, very faint warm air coming out. If I rev the motor, I can hear the heater core "girgle" and the air gets hot, soon as I back the throttle back down to idle, cold air?
I think I will try the Superflush kit for the heck of it.
Thanks,
CSR

Sure sounds like air in the system to me. Be sure to actually take off the radiator cap and check level.

Yes, I made sure both levels were good. I also felt the hoses and they feel the same temp. I am going to try taking the hose of the core and back flush with h20 while I have em off. I thought the core was air locked so I parked the nose on a steep hill and took the cap off, no results?

still sounds like you might be moving some air around..and for the cost I would replace the radiator cap...
