ok, this thread is probably gonna strike alot of you as pretty weird but tomorrow morning Im heading out and covering 2900 miles of freeway, and chances are, at least one person who reads this will be on the freeway when I am. I have too many tickets, one more the license goes back to the state for a while. and when it comes to a race I have a hard time saying no, not much self control in that area. so if you see a 3nd gen metallic blue GSR, full kit, rollng on stock wheels with WA plates please just go on by me. I think I might make a little sign or something a well that says "TOO MANY TICKETS" in big red letters to show kids when they wanna race, so at least theyll see I have good reason and not screw with me for miles cuz Im being a bitch and wont race them.

thanks

Not to be nosey...but, where you goin'? Just to be on the look out. And yes the sign idea is genious.

Is it just me or are the letters much larger? It could be my computer but AF looks diff.

Articles are gone now, unless they have been and I just realized it today.

well, too late now, I have been in cali for almost 2 days now, but I left new jersey and drove to sacramento, through ohio, illinois, iowa, wyoming, utah, a couple others I cant remember as well I think. logged 2860 miles in a litle under 47 hours including the stoips for gas and all.

and im happy now, car still runsgood. oil full and clean still. no new noises. with 2 people, luggage, tools, bunch of snacks, 100lbs of dynamat, extra set of wheels/tires, I still got about 27-30 MPG cruising at 75 in the mountains.

one thing I know now is my T-stats not closing or its not there because I had to duct-tape over 3/4 of my grille in the bumper to stay warm cuz coming down a few of the passes the guage went down to where it sits when the car has cooled completely, was probably way coler than the guage can even register, taped it up and ran at half rest of the way so I was able to stay warm. I got the new T and will probably do it tomorrow as well as change the oil again.

and strangely enough (wasnt driving all the time but most of it(1LG cappucino, 1SB frappucino, 1Sobe no fear energy, 5Sobe adrenaline rush, 4AMP, 4Red bull, 1Black Ice 300MG caffiene pill) and was awake almost the whole time) I saw ZERO imports on the road, well of course lexus/infinitis, some accords and such but not a SINGLE civic, only a couple of tegs, no 240's or anything, didnt even get a chance at a race.

while down here I got my exhaust done at my buddies shop again and a kid had just taken a greddy system out of his 2G so I got piping back to the greddy muffler/tip. I had him install a 24" pack as well to quiet it down, sounds sick, freeway you dont even really hear it at all but start racing and you sure know its there, nice deep and mellow sounding too, no bees in a tin can for me.

sounds good to me. i got the greddy also and on the highway i can't hear it at all either. but when i put the peddle down it sounds so sweet.
good to hear you were left alone.

well, steamcleaned the engine and found a 4" crack in the plastic top cap on the radiator that must have been kept sealed with gunk or whatnot cuz it wasnt leaking, still barely leaks, since its at the top and omnly realy leaks from a tiny spot in the crack I really only lose steam. but through a connection down here I got one for 100 bucks delivered in 2 hours. could have gotten one for like 85-90 on ebay but id have to wait for shipping so I just did this route. so Im geting ready to gop swap in the new radiator and some fresh oil/filter to start my next 1200 mile trip home, this is the route I always se the nice opportunities on the freeway.

I went to this wrecking yard by my friends shop too and man I wish i lived down here right now, a whole RSX-S for 3k. rear end is perfect, looks like they hit a pole, BAD, but the engine/tranny look to be fine, and interiors stripped but its got everything for a swap, and I can get a prelude vtec front clip for about 2300 bucks. and they got a ton of hondqa engines, even a nice clean K24 in there.

So I am guessing you are inthe Sacermento area right now from your last post? Wow, Jersey to Cali in 2 days, that's some darn good time. Didn't sleep much I am guessing? That's a long way to drive your car, especially in such a short amount of time. How long did it take you to drive to jersey (since I am guessing you drove the car there originally)?

I really don't see how you did it. I go to from Atlanta to Tampa every year, about an 8.5hr drive and I can't wait to get out of the car. lol I just can't stay in a car for that long straight like that.

well, no I flew there, bought the car in new hampshire, drove it to NJ and stayed with my sister for a while/did some work on her new house.

then my parents flew out there for thanksgiving and my mom flew back and my dad drove with me. I idnt really sleep at all, we switched after every tank, for some reason I couldnt make it thorugh one without getting tired, today Ive been up 23, drove 14+ and am not that tired, and only substance that helped me was sobe energy and a black ice pill. nothing else.

just got back from walnut grove (lodi pretty much if your not sure) close to sac.

did that in about 14+ hours I think. suicks though cuz last ferry is at 1 AM and I got to it at lke 2 so had to find something to do til 5 AM, ended up just cruising by all the car lots. went to honeys but it was closed. lol

and the weather was too bad today to even go the speed limit sometimes, so almost 0 cars on the freeway, just all the big rigs.

saw a civic near the ferry that had a kit, exhaust, huge tach, NOS stickers on the windows, followed him til we hit a red light, revved then on green took off, then tried again on the 2nd red, not sure if he just had nothing to race with or was smarter than me and didnt wanna race in the city.(small city, wide streets, no traffic and I wasnt gonna mob through 3rd so dont give me crap)

I couldnt stand a trip that long in my teg. I can barely stand cruising on the freeway at 3500 at 75mph.
