The Automotive Forums has a growing community of JBody enthusiasts. Obviously, this is the Chevy side of the platform. Here, you can learn all you need to regarding Cavalier performance, looks, maintanance, pictures, and anything else Cavy related. If you seek Sunfire information, you can find it in the Sunfire section, under Pontiac on the main index page.
What is unique about the Cavalier and Sunfire sections, is that while the two both have there own individual forum, they share subforums. Please acquaint yourselves with these new subsections Jake (aves911) has kindly given to us. Like I said, they are shared with the Sunfire section, so dont be surprised to see Pontiac questions in them. I will move some of the newer and more popular threads into the proper forum, but from now on, please post your own threads accordingly.
Very simple:
Non-performance: Post questions/comments/pics regarding body kits, wheels, paint, hoods, suicide doors, vertical doors, spoilers, lowering kits, racing seats, interior paint, lighting, ground effects, mirrors, mesh, custom body work, and anything else you can possibly come up with that DO NOT MAKE YOUR CAR GO FASTER.
Performance: Post questions/comments/pics regarding cold/warm air intakes, turbos, superchargers, pulleys, engine transplants, exhausts, short shifter kits, and anything else you can possibly come up with that WILL MAKE YOUR CAR GO FASTER.
Problem Diagnosis: Post questions regarding something that is not right with your car, though you don't know what it is, and would like assistance. DON'T POST HOW TO QUESTIONS.
Although I know inevitably people will screw up. So just try your best, please? Moving threads is a pain in the arse.
As far as questions are concerned, before you make a new thread with your question, stop and think: "Am I the first person to think of this?" Very, very often, somebody has posted the very same question, and the resulting information can be accessed using the SEARCH function, located at the top of the forum display screen. If you dont use it, and you post a question we have answered a million times, you will probably be flamed, and there is only so much I can do to stop them...
There are sticky'd threads at the top of each forum. Read them before posting a question, becuase 99 times out of 100, your information is in the stickies. They were written by guys who know there stuff, so please look there first. They have "IMPORTANT" in big red letters in front of them.
Removing the Governor
If you know how, and someone asks, feel free to explain. There has been a change in the stance of the AF Management, and it has been deemed acceptable to discuss it.
Flaming/Harassing: Very simple. Dont do it. Do not start any import vs domestic wars, you will be banned. Do not come in here and trash talk J-Bodies. You will be banned. Overall, dont be stupid. And yes, I am the judge of what is stupid and what is not. Behave yourselves children. Most importantly, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT EVER slander someone else's car. Period. End of story.
Thank you for reading this.
If any of you regulars would like to add something, feel free.

Don't act like a tool... or you will have this section's Senior members all over you like fly on shit.
And the govener....
U better have some good ammo to attempt asking how to remove it, becuase your most likely not going to be told. Your fellow memebers reserve the right to not tell you and there is nothing you can do about it. Although if you can provide reasonable reason why u need it done feel free to attempt to obtain the knowledge.

i think another rule should be that if you havent a clue as to what your talking about then dont get pissed off and act all nobbish when somone puts you in your place. I have seen several threads now where kids get on here act like they are the shit...then when they get put in thier place they just keep on like a dumb ass. Just edmit defeat, move on and grow up!

my car has a fuel cut off how to i get rid of that i go to heartland raceway and do the run what you bring races and i feel i could do alot better ie win more if my car wouldnt cut the fuel off at 108 and i could also compete in the 1/4 instead of the 1/8 mile races.

rule 73. Cavaliers arent cool cars, dont try to change them, let them be themselves. Buy a Grand prix or camaro.
