I just swaped a head off a d16z6 ,onto a d15b7 block and everything is hooked up and ready, but im using my old distributer, the lobe pattern on the old dis dosnt match up with the pattern on the block. I got it to fit but one lobe is off, so i started the car up, but no firing. Everything is in its place.

Could it be the distributer?????????

What do you mean, lobe pattern, is it the bolts that hold it to the block, or the slot that fits into the cam? If it's the bolts, I've heard/seen that you have to cut the distributor so that it'll bolt up and let you get the right timing. But not 100% sure.

Only one bolt will fit. The one up top. You will have to drimmel the rest with some geometry to make to where you can move it. Make sure your spark plug wires are hooked up right. I had the same problem when I did my mini-me swap. I thought I wrote down the correct pattern and put them back on the same, but I was wrong.

I would search "mini-me swap" you will find a lot of my posts of when I was doing it.
