I checked the Chilton manual: 'This is so easy task' that the manual jumps again in here =No help. The Manual helps only in the H4 light bulb change. The corner light opens after one screw is taken off.
Typical chilton/haynes crap: even light bulb change does not tell Maxima specific rubber seal, not to speak of a pic...
If your lamp is like in -93 maxima, normal H4:
The lamp (adjustable) is inside a black metal 'shroud' that is bolted into the chassis with three nuts.
Open hood, take off the front grill. Remove the H4 bulb. Take off corner light phillips screw (on top of the lamp), snap its lower support off to the side. Remove the sidelight assy gently off drawing it forward [assembly rear has only one open slot].
The light assy is held with two nuts now seen as the sidelight is off. The last one is inside engine compartmet just beside the radiator.
Btw I did take some pics also... why this forum does not allow to attach them?
