94 Nissan Maxima Tranny problems.....

I was just curious, I have a 94 Nissan Maxima, with a automatic transmission. I know that the transmission has to come out of a Maxima made in 10/93 or later, but will any other year fir it? I can't seem to find my year of transmission anywhere, but everyone seems to have 95 tranny's. Will they work with my car? Thanks for any help.

95 and 94 are different. You can try eBay. I did find a tranny there for an 89 Honda Accord so I know you can find them rebuilt and with a warranty. I got it with a warranty for about 600 which included shipping plus I paid around 120 to ship the old core back to them. I installed and it runs beautifully. I wish I could remember the place as they sell rebuilt ones online.
