95 Probe hood latch

[SIZE=7]The hood latch on my probe will not open. My battery is dead and I am trying to open it. I can hear it trying to open but the hood won't release. What can I do to open it?

Not sure if I understand this but.....inside the car you pulled the hood release?

THen in about the center of the hood is latch you have to move up to open the hood.


Should come right open...
