The curb weight of the R33 is 1360kg and output is 187kw as standard.
So if my calculations are correct, that makes it 137.5kw per tonne. With mods can be a hell of a lot more.
Not 100% sure but I am sure it will be over the 125kw limit. Sorry dude.

This is from the VicRoads website:
High powered cars
While you can drive most vehicles, you are not permitted to drive a high powered car. These are cars which have a power to weight ratio greater than 125 kilowatts per tonne or with a capacity to weight ratio of more than 3.5 litres per tonne. A list of cars which may not be driven is available from VicRoads Registration and Licensing offices.
You may drive a high powered car if your employer requires you to drive it in the course of your
employment, or if you hold an exemption issued by VicRoads. VicRoads will only grant an exemption if:
it is the only car owned by your family
the car is used for business as well as social use and no other non high powered car is owned by your family.
Applications for a high powered vehicle exemption must be made in person at a VicRoads office. Exemptions are for a nominated vehicle and must be carried at all times.
If you are a probationary licence holder, it is your responsibility to make sure any vehicle that you drive is not a high powered motor vehicle. The penalties for driving a high powered motor vehicle include a heavy fine, and may result in licence suspension.

Well... they will eventually crack down on P platers driving high powered cars... it's the driver's responsibility - not to mention cops are constantly harrassing imports now !

ah all gud, i got it solved, i got a letter from my work sayin that they want me to drive this car since the other car i own is a 1988 barina and its not a good impression on clients (which is true tho, they actualy want me to drive the r33 than the barina)
and given that the whole 12 months i had my Ps i never had a singe speeding ticket or red light ignoring or a parking fine, i think ill get the exception.. (fingers crossed)
