Hey every one!!! i just joined and i have a question. i recently been going to ftwtrucks.com and post my problems and questions in their ranger forum, but i'd thought i'd try here. OK..... i have a 1994 ford ranger 3.0 V6, i need to know where the tach wire is located to istall my tach. Is it the white wire with pink stripe or is the tan wire with yellow stripe??? And where is it located???? thanks, adam

If you're installing an after market tach then u need to fine the positive coil wire. Start ur truck and use a tester to find it, be sure to turn it off before u hook the wire up too cuz it will shock the hell out of you

Or go to Ford and they'll show you the wiring diagram so you can be sure it's the right wire.
