Flash Mind Reader, how does it work?

Probably posted in the past, but heck, I am wondering how does it come up with teh image every single time. I know certain numbers would always come up to another number but, the image? WTF. How does it do that.

has it ever not picked the one taht you picked? that happened to me once.. but maybe it was just because i didnt add it right

The answer of the equation is aways nine or a multiple. They just show that symbol when you click.

It's rigged. If you refresh the page, you'll notice the symbols change accordingly everytime.

Of course it's rigged. If you look closer you will see 9, 18, 27 etc are always the same symbol and always the one you get when clicking.

yeah it's a formula so each number will always be the same when you add the digits then subtract from the original number. Notice how the symbol changes, so whatever number you chose, it will always be the symbol they choose.
