Corvette, S7, S15 and Supra

Hey everybody, these are the drawings I've been working on lately.

Corvette:

Supra: The styling and bodykit for this one was done from my imagination. All freehand and I used a model for the basic shape and proportions.

Great job! The S7 looks like a pic. Vette looks great too. The S15 is toony, but cool, same follows for the Supra.

Nice! What type of media did you use to draw the S7? Is it pencil or charcoal?

I believe it's pencil.

Jumpman, I used graphite on the s7

Jeep: I did the supra freehand in about 2 hours i think. I used a scale model for reference and designed the bodykit myself, wanting it to look a little "veilside-ish"

Well, I'm using the Skyline body kit I posted, so that's taken. PS, I won't say more, but jeep, if you want more pics, PM me. I got side and rear.

You posted a skyline bodykit? Where?

Anyways, by veilside I was thinking of one of the Veilside Skyline R34 kits, which is sort of boxy and sharp.

These drawing are awesome, especially the S7. I was just wondering with the S7 and the right headlight. There is a darker streak on the inner edge that just doesn't seem right. Maybe I'm just seeing things but something just doesn't look right. But that picture is incredible though. I love your work and always look forward to seeing new ones.

Well, it is. PS, the word is Rediculous. Lol.

But if you turn the cointrast up on your moniter, you can very clearly see the different shades he used on the Vette. It scanned dark. It is a drawing but still hardly distinguishable. Nice work man. I still love the vette's front rim:)

I'm really itching to render that supra line drawing. I'd turn it into a real bodykit and enter it into the contest, but it looks way too toony.

that saleen you did really draw , it looks like a photo that i shot with my camera :D.

I'm amazed by the difference between the first two picture and the other two. Ok they have been done freehand but the shading on the first two when well it is not as good on the others. Anyway fantactic job.

Alex - You wouldn't mind if I called you out on the corvette and the s7 would you? I've just been seeing drawings from you, and most of them are great, but not profession such as the 'vette and s7. have any pictures of the actual drawing? Don't scan it in, but rather take a few snapshots of it, write something like your screen name on another piece of paper and lay it on top or something. Not to be crude, but I wonder, because i've seen the corvette elsewhere. Just got to make sure :)

AlexI was looking around at some different drawing/sketching websites, and came across a picture. I just wondered, these days people like to say someone elses work is theirs. Seems to me they claimed your work as their work. Drawings look nice man, keep it up.

Alex: actually not too long ago, (maybe about 3 weeks ago) there was some big art stealing thing going on at deviantart.com. I'm a member of Artpapa, and there was a thread started there about some art stealer who had compiled a full gallery of stolen drawings from artpapa members, saying that some drawings that took 60 hours in real life, only took her 6 or 7.

no that is alex's drawings, i will always remember his style. he is the best car-drawing-artist i've ever seen.

anf by the way alex! i've been looking around on your freehand drawings a bit!

i can see a issue that you have, and its on almost all of them!

you do the wheels really nice, BUT, the rear wheel i like pointing out on every one of them, like, if you see the left side of the car, the rear wheel is steering to the left. AND one thing more, you have a tendens(is it called so?) to do the rear of the car a bit to high!

no offense or aomething, just a tip, so you can be the almighty one... :P

i hope you understand my suckie-english! i think i have some issues with grammar and stuff, i like to draw on my englishclass.
