what's the best turbo kit out there right now for the H22a? Greddy? FMax? We don't have emissions testing in Canada, so I'm basically looking for one that'll give me best bang for my buck without worryign about emissions. I'm not getting a turbo for sure, but its crossed my mind a couple times.Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

greddy's turbo is kinda weak.
as for FMax, i dont like the idea of the external injectors... the thought of gas charged air venting fromt he blowoff valve doesnt excite me, especially under the hood.
drag has a manifold cracking problem.
so, they all have their faults. my best bet is to recommend you get the best parts from all the systems and piece together your own system.

I suppose that's what it gets for being CARB exempted. Have you actually seen an install yet?

I know all turbo systems have their own faults, but I don't think I know enough about them to build my own (I guess its time to start reading up). Would it end up costing more in the end if i pieced together my own parts? Was it hard to do yours drift?

nope, no install witnessed yet. too damn expensive, especially here where CARB doesnt matter.

my turbo system was cheap. think about the cost of FMax ($3400), then divide by 2.
the main cost in my setup is labor... since all the piping is hand made, and we dont have the clout to get a mandrel bender.
if you have welding experience, then by all means, try my setup ;)

does anyone know anything about the DC sports exhaust manifolds from digitalracer.com?
