lol .. thats what i meant by pressing the horn... and im not one of the roadrageing crazy ppl... its just that where i live the majority of the population is over 50.. and they dont look when the drive and cut you off ... almost slam into you when they're changin lanes ... u name it they do it ... so its a lil scary to drive w/out a horn...

check your fuses first. then get a test light or voltmeter and a friend anfd check if you have power to the horn. the horn is probably under your front bumper somewhere. if you have power to the horn then you need a new horn they cost like 12 bucks at napa. any generic kind should work they're almost all the same

i have no horn in my car , just keep the window rolled down and scream....~lol
if all the basic ways like checking the fuses and looking inside the steering wheel dont work. you may actually need to get under the car and find the horn.(behind the bumper cover around the left fog light or the location were the fog light would go)
un plug the harness from the horn. get a voltometer and check the terminals. if you do not get any volts (think its 12v for the horn) or low volts it may be a problem in the wiring, maybe a short. If you get around 12v then your horn simpley went bad and you need to un bolt it and purchase a new one or get a cool musical horn. plug the new one in ,bolt it up and your set.....now if it is a short or falt in the wiring this make take alittle more time tracing the harness back to the fuse box finding the short and replacing wires if needed..

ohhh, so thats whats wrong, dana, the horn fuse is in the engine bay, not under the dashboard. i checked both of them before i posted that pic, which is the one of the box under the hood.

oh my bad ... mines pics of under the dash... so the horn fuse is in the engine bay.. ok .. well i just changed the fuse and now theres a clicking sound when i tap the horn... i guess i need a new horn

yesa that sound right. the clicking sound is the relay engaging to send power to the horn. your horn probably shorted and blew the fuse and now it doesnt work even with a new fuse. iots not hard to change a horn. just get one from napa and bolt it on.

i have a question I have to press mine really lightly and it might work.
but when I press it hard or even sometime lightly it doesn't work you think it could be a shortage or electrical prob

I'm having horn issues too, sometimes it will work but it's really quiet and the rest of the time (95%) of the time there's nothin'.

If the button is hard/inconsistent, that's a button problem. You'll have to buy the new horn stuff in the steering wheel. If your horn doesn't work at all, get a damn multimeter and go test the power AT THE HORN. If you have power, the horn is broken, get a new one. If there is no power, check fuses and make sure the wire is OK from the steering wheel to the horn or wherever it goes. If it's that big of an issue, you can break out a service manual and trace every connection.
