I know this technically should be in Tech, but no one goes in there, and I need help right away. For some reason when I got online earlier this evening my internet was meesed up. It has none of the bars at the top of the screen. No back, refresh, address bar, nothing. And its really a pain in the arse.

Any ideas of what I could do?

Here's a screenshot so you can see what Im up against:

Please Help!

Can I offer an (obvious) answer???

Did you check to see if your "View" menu has changed at all? Also check under the Window menu, if you have one. Yes, they're kinda a "duh" but you never know...

If you cannot click on any menus, go Control Panel -> Internet Options and go through all the tabs and restore to default.

Run ad aware as well in case it's a browser hijack.

I went to the Internet Options, but there are no tabs I can restore to default. Only "Clear SSL State" and "Autocomplete..."

EDIT: All fixed. I ran a full virus scan and deleted a few files. Then the browser went back to normal. Thanks for your help though.

In Internet Options, click on the Advanced tab at the top. It's the button on the bottom that says "Restore Defaults". Should put the navigation buttons back in place.

No other tabs at the top.

If those are the only two tabs you have in Internet Options, sounds like either a browser hijack (I would recommend some spyware removal softare) or Internet Exploder is toast.

Try some spyware/adware removal and see if it's a hijack. If this isn't the case, I would reinstall IE.
