Cat. Converter?

This one is driving me crazy, the car is accelerating like crap, and I think the gas/exhaust smells kind of funny (the gas is still the gas that was in the car when I got it.) But the air filter is wet with gas, so I was thinking it might be the cat. Converter is plugged? Just wondered if anyone else had any ideas. The fuel filter, and air filter are new :confused:

so just hollow out the cat. if its smelling like rotten eggs its the cat, my aunts 2002 monte carlo ss had to have 2 new cats before it was 1 year old and it wouldnt run over 45 mph, it wasa spittin and spudedering (SP)

i replased my 91 camaro cat in 2004 it still had plunty of room for the exust to flow but did have a tone of crap in it. it was a pain in the ass and did not help me with my problem
