I've got a 95 jimmy slt, and every time the key is in the on position, whether the vehicle is running or not, it locks the doors. i've locked myself out of it sooo many times. is that something standard? or is something wrong or what? my dad reprogrammed the automatic locks on my moms sillhouette, but he says he won't help me with mine. how do i do this? or is there another way to bypass it?

I don't think so.

Try this link: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=300754&highlight=disconnect+locks

The principle should be the same. There are two connectors, one controls the power lock and the other controls the autolock safety feature.

I have power locks on my 94' Jimmy SLE, but it doesn't have the annoying autolock. :)

Hope this helps.
