fuel filter replacement 86 trans am.

my brothers fuel filter in the line that goes from the fuel pump to the carb looks rusty inside the filter, (its a glass filter and you can see if its clogged) anyway we are going to change it, but is there another filter under the car too? i told my brother that if the one under the hood looks that bad that the other one will definatly need replaced.

I just looked up for a replacement and it only listed one filter but if there was another one it would be easy to spot by just getting under the car and following the fuel line but I doubt there is.

ill back her up on ramps and look. cause there wasnt one on it when he bought the car, but after the new engine was installed we put one in the line in between the pump on the side of the motor and the carb just to be safe.
