Hey guys,
Been lurking for a while now and have soaked up a ton of good advice!!
Now, my question....I'm thinking of installing cab lights on a 2004 ecsb, and I would rather not have a seperate toggle switch for them. Are there any "factory" kits available that would wire into the existing park light circut??

Why not just tap into the Park light circuit with the Cab lights? I assume of course that your talking about the ones that are outside mounted to the front part of the roof?
I added 6 running board LED Lights to my park light circuit with no problems at all.

Thanks for the input.....I figured on trying something simple like that.
Hopefully when I hit the turn signals, the lights on top won't flash!!

Shouldn't if you pick the right wire.
I used the one from the front park light and not the side one. Thus, My Running board lights don't flash. I thought about getting fancy and getting one light in the running boards to flash when I was turning but, it was too many wires and too much of a bother. :D
Your a braver man than I, I wouldn't want to be drilling holes in my roof... Just remember to seal everything Water tight.

Hey let us know where you pick up the lights and wiring and such, I'd like to do something like that myself.

I did the same thing on my last truck. There is a kit on JC Whitney... but the factory parts are better. Just buy the wiring at a automotive store. You might want to hook in a relay to trigger the cab lights off the parking lights. Otherwise they might be dim.
