86 accord problem

Got the third motor put in this car last night. When I got the car I only paid 300 for it but it was real clean but had a froze motor. The guy was cool about it and gave me his other BT motor and I put that in just to find out that it was froze as well. So my dad and i drove a few hundred miles and picked up another accord motor. A friend and I got it put in last night in good ol 12 degree weather. When we got it done the motor wouldnt start. It cranks, we checked all the plugs and they are getting spark, took off the fuel line and put it in a cup and cranked it and fuel comes flowing out. So we tried squirting starter fluid down the intake manifold and when he went to crank it, the manifold shot flames out in small bursts. That means its 180 out right. Now correct me if im wrong which I think im going to be, all i do is pull the dizzy and then crank the motor till it is at top dead compression one the first cylinder and then put the dizzy back in. Not sure but any info will help thanks.

Also does anybody know if these 2.0 accord motors are fast at all for stock thanks
