two tone effect

anyone got any tips on how to achieve this?

Depends. Do you want it to fade into the other color or do you want a quick shift from one color to another? Fading is easiest IMO. just get the colors you want, primer the model, and add the paint. I have a 3-tone paint on one of my cars and I just painted the front black, put the can down, picked up the metallic blue, and painted into the black, put the can down and picked up the light blue and painted the rest.

With a quick switch, get a good coat of one of the colors you want to be on the car. Then where you want it to change color, apply masking tape to mask off your previous coat of paint. and paint the second color.

When masking it's important to get a good quality masking tape. I bought some tape from a hobby store around here for about 2.25. It's thin, and there isn't much tape, but it's good quality from what I've used of it.

im looking for an effect that changes for example between gold and red all over the body
