Ran Redlight

I was coming up on a major intersection a little late at night, doing just a little over the speed limit. Just as I was on top of the intersection- the light changed. I decided to go through but scanned the intersection for traffic. Came through the intersection safely, but a cop pulled me over. I tried to tell the cop I was on top of the intersection- but he was hell bent on giving me the ticket. Having a CDL license, and realizing those points would hurt, I decided to fight the ticket. Judge asked me what the deal was, and i told him I "I was trying to get out of the intersection to make way for an emergency vehicle". Judge asked me- did you tell this to the officer? I said "the officer was driving the emergency vehicle". About 8 people awaiting their fate on their tickets started laughing, the judge looked at me, cracked a grin, and dismissed the ticket. Amazing how a little humor can get you out of things.

Haha, very funny. Next time I'll have to no excuse I guess I could give it a try.
