Hi all:
Untill I can get the Honda nav unit to work I'm still sorta bummed. It wasn't a priorty so I never gave it much thought during the purchase although it will be nice to have it functioning. However, after trying all tips and tricks including the supposed nav unlock code I still get "INCORRECT PIN" yikes, arrgghhhh!!!!!! Have had it for a week (a ODYSSEY 2004 EX with 98000+ mls), runs like a gem despite all the scary tranny problems reported elsewhere. But the navi won't accept the code; disconnecting the battery (overnight to clear the system/history reset blah blah etc) still it didn't make it work!! So I'm still kinda bummed. Bought it from a used car dealer out of state but my neighborhood dealership looked up the pin after I took out the dash panel and located and recorded all possible numbers for a lookup but all to no avail. The same codes come up for the system but entering it fails, what gives? Any ideas anyone before I contemplate a major reparir or send-off to Alpine??
It's a car not a van since it drives like one though. ^5
