good engines for 97 civics

i would like to know the best or a good engine for a hond civic ex 1997. also the price rangefor the engine.

You can probably find some slightly better deals than those however.

Well there are alot of options. B16A2(99-00 Si) should run about $3500. B18C1(94+ GSR) should run about $4500. The B18B1(94+ LS) should run about $2000 and so on. it basically depends on the motor that YOU want.

i say go with the sr20det or the rb22dett if you wanna be flashy, then again you could always try the 2jzge, an ej20 might be a tight swap but it would be a "tite" yo.
