I have Hyundai 1999 sonata 4 cylinder car.
Following is problem.
for past week
"check engine" light is on.
car shakes some times
mechanic says one cylinder of 4 is 'shot'
what could be problem?
how can it be corrected?

- probably one cylinder misfires. General tune-up first: spark plugs, eletrical wiring etc. Get a second opinion from another place before costly repairs.
