i turn 16 in like a month and i got my car already, a 96 cavalier 2.2 liter. I dont have the biggest budget ever :2cents: but i need how to go fast and look SWEET, i really dont know that much but im Very interested inthis. help from anyone would tickle my fancy

Cheapest place to do all this. And had lots of parts for your car. Just if you want to go into the turner thing, look around b/c there will always be someone cheaper, and try to find the best for the lowest price. (other words spend the money know instead of fixing the crappy one)

I'd suggest checking out the Cavalier section to see what they think. But realistically, a cav isn't a fast car, it's a 4 cylinder coupe that will require some $$$ to get it running 'fast'. The best thing I can recommend is doing alot of reading. Many rush into these things and get alot of flamming because they follow the Fast and Furious pop-culture rather than making educated decisions. Pretty much any knowledgable person will know the F&F movies are full of sh^t and call you a ricer if you think a few intake and exhaust mods will make you faster. So yeah, do some reading and decide what route you wish to go.

If it was a Cavalier Z24, you'd have a quick little car with a growing aftermarket, but it's gonna take a bit more effort to make the 2.2L into a quick car. Like Igovert said, check the Cavalier section. In fact, this thread should probably be moved there...
