Man, it's been awhile since i've been on here, all the pages and stuff are different. Just a wonderin' if anyone knows how to cure the dreaded crankwalk, i think my baby may be suffering somewhat.

new engine.....get a 6 bolt from a 90-92 gsx make sure its a 6 bolt tho some 92 modles have 7 bolts also i think

crankwalk COULD happen at any mileage right? How many miles do you have on yours btw. Just wondering if theres any trend...

you just dont ease into crankwalk it hits you like a brick...motor just stops...

i mean that CW is not somthing that you car hear ,smell or feel the symtoms by simple driving the car. if you dont check for it it can just stop your motor dead ,like a ton of bricks...

Sometimes...sometimes your clutch will stick when you make left turns. Sometimes you'll hear a ticking from the lower timing area. That is usually the crank brushing against the CAS itself, just before it will take it out entirely.

But you're right, in some cases the car just won't start one day. Usually there are some warning signs prior to "the dreaded end" ;).
