Options for buying 03-04 cobra engine

I looked at www.karkraft.com and they have them for sale for $11,995!!! I'm hoping that isn't the going rate, anywhere else sell these suckers cheaper?

i dont think so they are extremly expensive u pry could find one out of a wecked corba but that would pry be 7 thou or more. 48v corba whats 48v mean thats a 6 valve v8 do they exist? i know corba's are 32 v but never heard of 48v

For the work, and assuming your planning on putting this into a newer style GT/V6 you might just want to check out a used cobra, because after all the work and engine price and time, you would be close to the effort of just getting a cobra, but you would have the suspensions goodies. However you would save alot over insurance.

Um....you can build a Cobra engine yourself or a shop for way less.
mabey 8,500-9,500$ The block and heads are the most expensive parts then the intake then pistons...etc.....internals. You can get the same power using an Aluminum 4.6 truck block (thicker walls....etc.... (gt 4.6 style) way cheaper also...7,000$

As for the Cobra, Id learn about the car a little more before you purchase one. Price, 22-26 grand
