...this time, oh, just read it. It'll be better if I don't spoil it in the beginning

I see that there is a cop ahead of me. Don't think anything of it, until he pulls over to the side of the road. As I'm about to pass him I look down at the speedo; apparently I'm going around 13 over :eek7: . Damn, I'm just not used to a car where I can't tell my speed by wind noise alone... :grinno: I brake, but when he flips on his lights, I naturally pull over. He slowly pulls up behind my car and, taking his time, walks up to my window.
Him: "Hey there, how's it goin'?"
Me: "just fine..."
him: "is there a problem or anything?"
This is where it started getting odd, because he didn't ask for my license or registration.
me: "nope not really."
him: "you know why I pulled you over?"
at this point I have a rather quizical look on my face, as you can imagine... I'm also trying to avoid saying I was speeding, while at the same time trying to not be denying it. Before I could actually say anything, he says
"actually I wasn't pulling you over."
me: "huh?"
him: "yeah I saw what looked like a car in the bushes, thats why I stopped and turned on my lights. You're a helluva citizen for pulling over so quick, though."
me: "oh! well, of course."
him: "you weren't speeding or anything, right?"
me: "oh, of course not!"
at this point he asked me if I had robbed any banks or killed anyone in the last 20 minutes, then we shook hands and parted ways. As I was pulling out I accidentally peeled out in the gravel on the shoulder. Stupid open diff...

So that is my interesting and lucky story of the night. Hope you enjoyed it.

Wild.

I got pulled over one day by the same cop who gave me the 6 point speeding ticket, in the exact same spot. Only this time he had one of my school's administrators with him. They saidthat someone had reported that the driver of a red sedan had a gun in the car. Unfortunately, that was the day my car was in the shop and I was driving my Mom's red Jetta. They had me out of the car, frisked, and the car searched. All the while its passing period and all my friends are passing me leaving for lunch.

Good times. A friend of mine got pulled over, taken out of the car and frisked a week or so ago. He had an airsoft pistol sitting on the front seat :grinno:

Wouldnt that be like, the first thing you put away when you see lights behind you?

I got pulled over while working tonite. Like 100 feet away i seen 2 kids "make and exchange" cop came back up to my window and i was like...hey i just seen a drug deal right there. I seen the truck and the cop asked if it was a white blazer....which i found odd but true, so i said yeah...literally ran back to his car and flew down the road after the truck.

i kinda sat there for awhile amazed at what had happend

Just to switch things up, I've wanted to pull over a cop for burnt out headlights soooo many times...

Yeah, I got pulled over last week. I was coming out of a parking lot that had a stop sign, but nodody stops at it anyways. I just went through it at like 20 mph, and then I notice a cop who slows down as soon as he notices me, so then I knew I was in trouble. I tried evading him (didn't speed though), but he caught up a few minutes later.
O: Is there any reason why you ran that stop sign back there?
M: No reason
O: Are you aware that tinted windows in front of the drivers head are illegal in the state of Michigan?
M: No, I wasn't (lie)
O: Well, I'm just going to let you off with a warning for a window, but if another officer pulls you over he'll probably give you a real ticket. And actually you know what, if you promise me that you'll stop at stop signs, I'll just give you a warning for that too. Let me just run your licence and then you'll be on your way.

Well, the tint is still there, and I still run that stop sign.

Claw, I don't want to hear any bitching when you get a ticket for:

A) Window tint

or

B) Running stop signs

:)

I never did like those window tinting laws... So many people do that around here now, the cops just said screw it, cause they'd have to pull over every other car on the road.
