Dakota 3.9L...Looking for help

Can anyone tell me if there is another external plug on the engine (2003 3.9L in a QC 4x4) where a set of mechanical gauges (oil pressure and H2O temp) can be placed without T-ing off the factory oil pressure sending unit on top of the block in the back by distributor and on the front top block by the thermostat?

I would like not to mess with T-ing, but if necessary I will.

I was just wondering if there are other options for installing these gauges.

Also, is there an easy access through the firewall without drilling? This obviously is not my '70 Chevelle with lots of room under the dash and area to drill.

Thanks to any who have done this, your answers and experience.

If I had a Chevelle I'd probably drill it full of holes too.

There is a big grommet that can be removed, around where the clutch would be if it had one. You can take that out and run your wires through there.

I know it's none of my business, but didn't this truck come with factory installed oil pressure and water temperature gauges? How come you need to put mechanical gauges in?
