Do they actually reduce costs of insurance? SOmeone told me this and I didn't know whether or not to believe it.

i dont think so. i know that some 4/5 point harnesses arent street legal because of the type of release they use. make sure you get one that is approved for street use in your state

They dont reduce insurance as far as I know. They should though, bodily injury potential should be much less.

well they only reduce potential body injury if installed properly. proper installation includes the use of a harness bar. if you tie the straps to the floor or any point lower than your shoulders the potential of breaking your back greatly increases

sparco makes a nice harness bar ,dont know if they have one for a dsm yet....

sparco doesn't make a harness bar for the dsm's yet. i've looked everywhere for one and the only person who makes 'em is http://www.dvdtfab.com the owner albert is badass and the reason he has em is cause he's a proud dsm owner as well.
