Blue painting tape Question

Will i get bad results if i use Blue painting tape(the kind you use for painting the interior of your house) for painting my window frames/rubbers?

I haven't used the blue tape for windows and such, but I used it to spray paint stripes onto a model and had good results. It's all I use because-you guessed it- it's cheap.
