88 Camaro TBI Keeps Blowing Hei Module

Now this should be a pice of cake but it's not. I have put 4 Gm modules in it and a GM Pickup coil a GM coil cap rotor wires ect. It's my GF car so you know what Im up with. The car will run just fine for about a week
with no problems at all ! Then out of the blue and only whe you go to start it just like it blows the HEI module. I have checked all grounds + added a few all diode's eg a/c clutch alt, purg,lock/up solinoids . It has good B+ and good currant to the coil and ecm. good fuse links ect. I was wondering if some how that the starter when disengaded (please excuse my spelling) and the solinoide magnetic feild could spike the Hei ? Sounds like a long shot ,couse you would think the ecm would be poped also...
Any help on this SOB would be very greatfull

Can the ecm kill the modual all the way ? Or will it only take out the est part of it and still leave a trigger to limp home ???

i wonder if this is at all a common problem? ask on the chevy camaro forums, they may have seen this before.
