1992 transport won't start

I have a 1992 pontiac transport that won't start after changing the battery, and the starter. When I turn the ignition switch all I get is a " click, Click ". There is power to the interior and exterior lights, dash instrument panel, key alarm , changed the battery positive cable, and cleaned all connections. I'm at the end of my rope. help!!!!!!!!!

WHen you turn the ignition switch "to start position", I guess, you hear click click. At that time, during the click click, are all those interior, exterior and dash instrument lighting still lighted up to normal intensity?

everything is still lit up to normal intensity.

With all you have checked already, there is not much left but negative cable..
