Main shaft bearing for a 1990 Camaro

Hey guys,
Does anyone know where i can get a main shaft bearing for a 1990 Camaro?? Its shot on my car and chevy wants 900 bucks for a new assembly. They told me over the phone its only made with the whole drivetrain, not seperatly but i think thats crap. If i can get the bearing, my mechanic will throw it on. Any thoughts?? HELP!! i dont have 900 bucks!!!!
